THE PRINCIPLED SUGARDADDY

I was embarrassed that fateful day. The sugar daddy I went out with, had no sugar in him. He was sugarless. 

I asked him to take me out a day after we met, so I could taste the sugar in him. He agreed, and I was ecstatic. We planned to meet during lunchtime so I didn’t bother to take breakfast. I ensured my stomach was empty so I could be pampered to my heart desire. 

That wasn’t my first time of going out with a sugar daddy so I knew better. The last sugar daddy I went out with, was annoyed I couldn’t eat much when he was ready to spoil me. 

We got to the restaurant and this man asked for just popcorn and bottle water. I was surprised but I concluded he was craving popcorn that moment. 

I received the first shocker when this man ordered for me without asking what I wanted. He ordered one meatpie and a middle sized ice cream for me. I waved that off as I thought that’d be just the appetizer.

So, as I finished my appetizer, I ordered for jollof rice, salad, chicken, plantains, moimoi and fruit juice. When I finished eating, the waiter came over to our table. He informed us that our bill was 15k. 

 “What do you mean? How much is popcorn, water, one meatpie and ice cream?” He bellowed. 

 “Those were your first order and that’s 5k, the second order is 10k, sir.” He replied him.

 “Who took the second order?” He asked. I was shocked. Was he joking?

 “Babe, I did. That’s the bill for the rice I ate now.” I reminded him and smiled warmly.

 “Oh! Your order is 10k. Well, mine is 5k. Let me pay for mine. You pay for yours.” He said. I received the second shocker when this man counted 5k and gave it to the waiter. The waiter faced me.

 “What’s that supposed to mean? You brought me here, you should pay for everything.” I informed him.

 “I ordered for what I could afford to pay for, and I paid for it. I only brought you here to get to know you better not for you to eat. We were conversing, so we only needed snacks not food. I’ve principles. Pay your bill and meet me downstairs.” He retorted and stood up. I was flabbergasted.

 “I don’t have any money on me, please don’t embarrass me.” I shrieked as he started walking away. But that obnoxious man didn’t look back.

The waiter called the manager on me. I had to call on people I knew and begged for money. I couldn’t leave the place until evening, as I had to gather the money bit by bit from the people I called.

What a sugar daddy!!!
