Teen charged with mischief over graffiti in Arnprior and McNab-Braeside

A 16-year-old male has been arrested and charged with three counts of mischief in connection with graffiti incidents in the Arnprior and McNab-Braeside area, Ontario Provincial Police reported Friday.

The youth was then released from custody and scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on June 5, the OPP added.

Police said historical hate-motivated symbols were reported in multiple locations on May 7 and 8, after which the teen was arrested by officers with the OPP’s Renfrew detachment and its crime unit.
