Similarly, religious differences, particularly between Muslims and Christians, have been exploited by political actors to mobilize support and manipulate public opinion, leading to sectarian violence and communal clashes.
Moreover, socio-economic inequalities, including widespread poverty, unemployment, and lack of access to basic services, exacerbate social tensions and create fertile ground for resentment and discontent. The perception of marginalization and exclusion among certain groups further fuels grievances and breeds hostility towards the state and other communities.
