*TOPIC: THE NOISE OF THE WORLD AND THE VOICE OF GOD*

_*”And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, there is a noise of war in the camp”. Exodus 32:17*_

*MESSAGE*

Advanced Learners Dictionary defines noise as a loud or unpleasant sound. A lot of this is experienced in our environment today hence we talk about *”noise pollution”*. If we will honest with ourselves, the menace of noise pollution is not far from a number of houses of worship today, because the so-called praises and worship that comes out of dirty, impure hearts are tantamount to mere noise making.

Dearly beloved, God is interested in talking into the ears of His children everywhere all the time. The noise of the world right in the church hall or outside it disallows God’s children from hearing their father’s voice.

The Man Ezekiel did not allow the noise accompanying the miracle of the bones shaking and coming together to disturb him from taking the next instruction from God. Moses and Joshua were still in their senses despite the noise being made by the backslidden Israelites.

Therefore, please do not be carried away by the noise going on around you at any given time in the church or elsewhere lest they debar you from hearing the voice of your God.

*ACTION POINT*

Don’t let the noise of the world keep you from hearing the voice of God.

*PRAYER POINTS*

1. Lord God, help me to differentiate between the noise of the world and your own voice as from today in the name of Jesus.

2. I refuse to allow the noise of the world to disturb me as from today in the name of Jesus.

3. Lord God I begin to hear and heed your voice as from today in the name of Jesus.
