 *TOPIC: THE WISDOM OF GOD*

_”And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt” Exodus 13:17._

 *MESSAGE*

The scriptural passage above talks about the strategy God used in bringing the people of Israel out of Egypt. God’s wisdom in leading them the way he did shows us that if the route had been too easy for them, the challenges ahead will make them run back into the slavery they were delivered from. So God decided to use a better strategy to keep them moving no matter the challenges, fear and oppositions they face on the way.

It is true that human beings often run away from challenging situations. However, in God’s wisdom, challenging circumstances often present a great opportunity for success. Beloved, challenges are not meant to destroy you; they came to elevate you and to reveal the power of God in you.

Sadly, many lose their relationship with God because of challenges. While they would rather have a shortcut out of it, God’s principle is often to use challenges to help us develop endurance. God has made it sure that though we face temptations, He is preparing a divine path for us to keep moving unharmed by the predicament. The Bible says that there is a way that seems right for man but the end thereof leads to destruction. The way that leads to a happy ending is prepared by God. He alone can guide you into it and through it. Let Him.
