Ottawa police are seeking public assistance to locate Anna Pitseolak, a 40-year-old Indigenous woman missing since about 6 p.m. Tuesday, when she was seen in the area of Russell Road and Ruissellet Drive.

Police are concerned for her well-being.

She is described as five feet five inches (165 cm) tall, weighing 200 pounds (91 kg), with blue hair and multiple facial piercings.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey pants, a yellow touque, black knee-high boots and carrying a black Vans backpack.

Pitseolak is known to frequent the Overbrook, Vanier and Carlingwood areas and is likely travelling on foot or by bus.

Anyone with information on Pitseolak’s current whereabouts is asked to call the Ottawa police at 613-236-1222, ext. 7502.
