There was a time when ₦100 could buy a lot more than it does today. In the past, people could walk into a restaurant with ₦100, enjoy a full meal, and still leave with change. 

Going back even further, this amount could get you enough groceries for months, and according to the stories from older people, it could even buy cars and pay for trips abroad.

However, things have changed dramatically. Due to inflation and the falling value of the Naira, the purchasing power of ₦100 has decreased. Smaller currency notes like ₦5, ₦10, ₦20, and even ₦50 are becoming almost useless as they can hardly buy anything today.

So, what can ₦100 buy in Nigeria today? Here’s a brief list:
