The Champions League semi-final lineup is set, but all eyes are on Arsenal and so is the supercomputer’s prediction.
After dismantling Real Madrid with a stunning 5–1 aggregate scoreline, Arsenal have emerged as the favourites to win the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League, according to fresh data from Opta’s supercomputer. It’s a bold shift, but not an outrageous one.
Arsenal didn’t just knock out any team. They eliminated the most decorated club in Champions League history and did it with swagger.
With goals from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in the second leg, Arsenal became the only English side to win at the Santiago Bernabeu twice, sending a clear message to the rest of Europe: they’re not just here to compete they’re here to win. And the supercomputer agrees.
Based on countless simulations, Arsenal now hold a 28.7% chance of lifting the trophy in June. That might not sound huge, but in a four-team shootout, it’s enough to put them in front. Inter Milan are close behind with a 25.5% shot, followed by PSG (24.0%) and Barcelona (21.8%).
