Wike vs. Amaechi: Warn Wike Against Unguarded Utterances – Rivers Women Tell Tinubu

The Rivers State Women Association of Nigeria (RIVSWAN) has called on President Bola Tinubu to caution FCT Minister Nyesom Wike over his alleged unguarded remarks against Dame Judith Amaechi.

The group condemned Wike’s claim that the NDDC was paying the former First Lady N4 billion monthly to train Niger Delta women, calling it false and driven by bitterness.

They urged the public to disregard the statement, describing it as a baseless attack rooted in personal vendetta.

“The entire allegation is not only laughable but an embarrassment to public discourse. It reflects either a gross misunderstanding of the NDDC’s budgetary structure or a deliberate effort to smear the name of a respected woman of substance,” the statement said.

In other news….. Nigerian singer Olatunji Oladotun Alade, popularly known as Dotman, has opened up about the emotional toll of his relocation to the United States.

In a heartfelt post on social media, the “Akube” crooner expressed his struggles since moving abroad, revealing that he has not seen his children for nearly two years.

Dotman admitted that the decision to leave Nigeria is one he now deeply regrets, citing the long-term separation from his family as one of the most painful consequences. He emphasized that despite the opportunities abroad, the emotional burden of being far from loved ones has been overwhelming.

His revelation has sparked a wave of reactions online, with many fans sympathizing with his situation and praising his vulnerability.

Dotman wrote:

“Today, I regret ever deciding to leave Nigeria and move to the USA. I have been struggling so much in silence. Haven’t seen my kids for about two years now. I am grateful to God that I am still alive. But I wish I had never moved out here, honestly.”
